Some IT companies grow by adding headcount and routing support tickets through a call center. We grew by going deeper with the businesses we work with — building the kind of institutional knowledge of a client's environment that makes every interaction faster, more accurate, and more useful than the last one.

OUR STORY

RavenTech was founded in 1998 by Art Grutman with a straightforward premise: businesses deserved IT support from someone who actually knew their environment, not a rotating cast of technicians reading from a script. That premise hasn't changed. What has changed is the scope of what businesses need — and the range of services we've built to meet it.

Over more than twenty-five years, RavenTech has grown from general IT support into a full-service technology firm delivering everything from managed services and infrastructure consulting to security and compliance work, custom software development, and fractional executive advisory. In 2026, the business formally organized as RavenTech Holdings LLC — a structure that reflects both the breadth of what we do today and the foundation we're building for where we're headed.

Our engagements are built around genuine familiarity with a client's environment — the history, the quirks, the decisions that were made three years ago that still matter today — because that's what separates support that actually solves problems from support that just closes tickets.
